Overview

Sanlitun SOHO comprises of five shopping malls and nine office/apartment buildings of varying heights. A roller skating rink and outdoor waterscaped courtyard will link the malls, forming what will be the liveliest pedestrian shopping street and leisure square in Beijing. Sanlitun SOHO is set to be the area’s colossus, regardless of whether this is defined in terms of the scope of its retail, sheer size, building exterior, or brand influence.

Above the retail blocks, there are five off towers of various footprints, up to 97 meters in height. The office towers are located on the north side of the site, ideal for sunlight, highly accessible to the street.

Both the organic shape of the towers and the edgeless, continuous space between the buildings soften the impact when seen from the distance and also give the towers high contact with fresh air and daylight.

The entrances to the towers are placed closely to the lively surroundings, while at the same time instilling the upper floors with an independent, private space for work and living.

Shopfronts: More than 150 shopfronts, with over 1,000 meters of shopwindows facing the street and more than 10,000 square meters of shop floor space.

The retail areas are all conjoined on Floor B1, with four floors (five floors in certain sections) above ground; floors 2 and 3 have outdoor podiums, which are interconnected via stars and linking bridges.

Through the main entryway on the northern end, the outdoor space invites an influx of people inside from the intersection of Sanlitun Road and Gongti North Road, all the way to the southern end of the site.

Sanlitun SOHO the first project in the area to combine shopping malls, offices, and luxury apartments to fully meet the demands for work, shopping, dining, leisure, socializing and living.
